So Hi all. Previous programming experience was Ceibo IDE for 8031 core micro's. I have been waffling about learning C++ for a number of years because I have not been able to make the connection between object oriented programming and controlling the machine directly. I got my fresh new copy of C++ for dummies and hope to change all that. I look forward to participating in the forum and if I manage to figure something out I am happy to share what I have learned with anyone who would like the help. Thanks for Code::Blocks, I hope it is as rewarding an experience as I can imagine... :) Oh, I am a human becoming, I hope that qualifies..

I think that there is no connection to find.

Hello, I am here too.
Not new to programming. doing some stuff on both Windows 10 and Linux (got both running in my office).
Impressed with easy setup of  the IDE. Got both the GCC and the DMD compiler and even the Borland BCC 5.5 compiler to work with.
Both GCC and DMD on both the windows and linux. Nice stuff to play with.
