Dear Newcomers,
please make a "I am new, I am here" post by replying to this thread so we know you are a human being.
This will make is easier for us to differ valuable members from SPAM bots whose number is growing, unfortunately.

The Code::Blocks team.

;D This is ridiculously funny way to fight spam, but is it effective ? ;D
;D Did you get the idea from Britney Spears, " I don't like defining myself, I just am" ;D

Uh, well..., looks like I'm a robot now, following your command, but least I write my comment here and not just some copy paste. Alright, here we go:

I am new, I am here.

and LOL is here too ;D

I am new, I am here. I'm currently switching from several years of Win-specific dev to cross-platform one (knowing I'm a Linux user - Ubuntu/Fedora -, but totally not a Mac OSX one - hoping I'll succeed to target it nevertheless). So, last weeks, I've tested Qt w/ Qt Creator (don't like this IDE spirit), Ultimate++ (lack of Mac and a little bit shorter for big projects) and wxWidgets/Code::Blocks.

I've finally decided to adopt C::B/wxSmith/GCC/wxWidgets ;D Because of its (this IDE/lib pair) wide of targets, its community, extensivity and opening of Code::Blocks, because of the fact wxWidgets relays on platforms native GUI layers, and because of LGPL license of this lib (really smart for an independent).

My main dev station is under Windows with Linux/OSX in VMware machines. My firstname is Eric :)
[Independent dev. - wxWidgets 3.0.0 under "Win 7 Pro 64-bit, C::B SVN 9435 & wxSmith, TDM64-GCC 4.7 & MSVC9" + "OS X 10.8, FSF GCC 4.7 & C::B SVN 8909"]

Hi! I am new here. I would like to make a new project script/wizard for the Freescale m68hc12 gcc compiler with the GNU Embedded Library (GEL), both ported years ago by Stéphane Carrez. Previously I used the EmbeddedGNU IDE but it's not as nice as Code::Blocks. It doesn't look like there is anything like this yet.

I will be posting in Embedded Systems as I go.

All the best

I am a real human user, not a bot....

I have been using Code::Blocks for several years now. Just finished migrating all my systems to 10.05 from 8.02... I use this IDE for cross-platform development of debuggers and tools for embedded DSP development. I use wxWidgets quite a bit for several projects.

Replicants need not apply.

I am human and have been - hence the user name. I am also thoroughly impressed with the C::B IDE.
