My origin is at www.c-plusplus.de, the biggest German C++ Community,
and be sure, we are watching you ;)
I don't see us there ;)

Waiting for activation...
And also look at the Forum there :)

Smile! You're in august issue of Software Developer's Journal! :D

You can find a really tiny issue preview here (in Polish) with C::B mentioned, they also have French (here) & English (not available yet) version, but they contain no preview.

Their site says the article covers basic introduction to IDE - like how to set it up with different compilers or guide through various functionality of C::B (presumably finalbeta 1). It also covers "something" that I cannot understand at all (paragraph on the site was written by horrible translator who surely has no idea of IT at all...), but it's either about writing simple plugin or generally about writing IDEs (as a wrappers for compilers functionality) with a C::B as an example.

EDIT: of course C::B was included on their Cover CD.

I did a minor advertising in an exposition about BSD last thursday for my OS2 class, showing the FreeBSD screenshot in this site and, at the end, there was a few questions we made, one of those which C++ editor was shown in one of the slides so they'd have it in mind, and was good to see some ppl knew about :)

Michael

Hello,

I have also done and I still do some C::B promotion, especially to users that would like to use a well done IDE for programming in C++. Until now those users belong to Qt forum and wxWidgets (but I am not sure about this one :?). I have also introduced C::B to some of my colleagues at the university who work with C++ under both Linux and Windows. The reactions were of course positive  :).

Best wishes,
Michael

I updated the entry on freshmeat for RC2 here: http://freshmeat.net/projects/codeblocks/

Be sure to rate it as a 10! :D

David Perfors

The cvs entry should also be updated to svn... is that possible?
OS: winXP
Compiler: mingw
IDE: Code::Blocks SVN WX: 2.8.4 Wish list: faster code completion, easier debugging, refactoring

I'd post a 9... there were a few bugs in RC2 :P
