Since installing a new plugin is not rocket science, I must be making a fundamental mistake. But what?

Some Plugin only tends to work with certain version of Code::Blocks or with certain DLL names and versions.

For third party plugins I can only recommend to compile C::B and the plugin(s) yourself. This is the easiest and most convenient way to get it to work correctly.

the python plugin hasn't been rebuilt for the latest rev. I updated PowerShell and FileManager just recently here: http://developer.berlios.de/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7745

The FileManager and PowerShell plugins were created from a recent nightly build of Code::Blocks and WON'T work with 8.02. I recommend updating to the latest Code::Blocks nightly build: http://forums.next.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,10912.0.html

I'm not currently supporting the Python plugin, though I may start working on it again soon.

PowerShell worked, but FileManager didn't.

try again with the previous nightly build: http://forums.next.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,10888.0.html (the recent commits might have broken compatibility again)

Thnx

FileManager & CbNSIS are still a problem. But I think I'll quit at this point.

looks like you have multiple copies of plugins. also, ShellExtensions has been split into PowerShell and FileManager, so you can either have ShellExtensions with an older CB rev or FileManager&PowerShell with a newer C::B rev. You can't have both.

OK. I propose to got to C:B...plugins and delete Shell Extensions, PowerShell & CbNSIS and then install PowerShell and FileManager. How does that sound to you? I may have duplicated some entries when I was copying and pasting.
