@DJMaze: Does codeblocks run, if you install it without checking dependencies (rpm -Uvh --nodeps CB_20060414_rev2352_fc4.rpm)? If yes, I could remove these dependencies and you could install the nightlies.

[root@Maarten /]# /usr/bin/codeblocks
/usr/bin/codeblocks: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.4' not found (required by /usr/bin/codeblocks)
/usr/bin/codeblocks: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.4' not found (required by /usr/lib/libcodeblocks.so.0)
/usr/bin/codeblocks: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.6' not found (required by /usr/lib/libcodeblocks.so.0)

Packages of precompiled binaries:

The list of packages has been moved to the Wiki:
http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=Compiled_packages_of_Code::Blocks

Hello,

I think that we should update the link for the pre-compiled Ubuntu development releases (SVN, x86). The link should point to the Nightly builds sub-forum or to BerliOS.

Best wishes,
Michael

Ok, doesn't work. You'll have to build it  :(

Done. Linked it to the nightly builds forum.

But you can also change contents yourself. It's a wiki ;)

Thanks :D.

Before doing it, I "wanted" to have the opinion of the admins/devs :).

Ok, that's right. But a dead link is never good. I changed it to link to the forum, because the link of the windows build also points to this place.  :)

just do it,
if you do it right, you'll never hear anything,
if you don't do it right, you'll get familiar with "the revenge of the admin"  :)

Ehm, I am not sure I would like to get familiar with "the revenge of the admin" :D. Let's do all in the best :).

Hi, could anyone put this into the wiki page?

It is an overlay for the gentoo-linux build script for code::blocks,
i made it because i use code::blocks everyday and the rc2 version is lightyears behind the current svn :)

It checks out the source from svn, applies some community patches (from the topic on this forums),
fixes a gentoo-specific problem with auto_revision script and finally installs the good thing.

Where I work :P

Jefri Sibarani

I've built C::B 1.0rc2 under Slackware 10.1 with wxWidgets-2.6.3.
I've created the packages too.
Codeblocks works fine and amazingly built my test application with wxWidgets.

anyone interested please email me at  jefrisibarani@gmail.com, because i have no webspace to put the tgz package yet.

regards

Great :).

Anyway, RC2 is old now. Much better to build packages from the SVN sources.

If you have no possibilities to make online your packages, then try a free File Hosting like:

You really don't want to use RC2 do you????

Try this build instead. ;)

Ok, I use Debian etch on AMD64 platform. And so I cannot install any of the packages that I have found on the wiki, at least that I know of. Anyway I built latest version from source instead and it worked fine. Also I have made my first package for Debian AMD64. So, are there anyone who do this already, or should I make my package available? Mandrav, I see you are registered as maintainer in the dh_make created files, whats your comment on this? I could apply for being a maintainer on Debian if no other already do that. I can build AMD64 and i386 packages.
