Starting the program after compiling is slow!

Hello!
I am new to this forum and hope I have chosen the right sub forum.

I program with wxWidgets and C++ and run Code::Blocks 10.05 on Windows Vista.
So the problem:

If I press F9 (Build & Run), Code::Blocks will first compile the project then run the program but I have noticed that in the newer versions Code::Blocks makes a 5 seconds break and then starts the application.
But this problem only appears if I compile and run my application with F9 or "Build & Run".
(Unfortunately I cannot remember after which version of C::B this bug appeared)

That is really annoying! I hope someone can help me...

Thanks!

PS: Please forgive me my (possible) bad English, I am from Germany ;)

Do you have antivirus software? If you have, please turn it off and test again.

That sounds like Kaspersky syndrome. If you're really unlucky, it can take 30 seconds.
