forum NEWS BOX on top-right can contain date?

Only if the one who writes the news writes a date in it.

Hmmm, when I'm in the forums index the News box shows the SVN one, but when I'm reading posts it shows the RC2.

Should it work that way?

Oh, and it would be really good to have dates there

Actually, they're news flash, so everytime you reload the page the news change.
