Hello,

I have been using code::blocks for about a could of months now and every now and then I get this weird error where basically the debugger sort of hangs up while I am debugging my code. When I try to manually stop it, nothing happens. If I try and rebuild my code, I get an error message which says that "Unable to stop Debug process". I have to then shut code::blocks down and restart it to get back on track.

My system config is:
OS: Linux Mint : 7.2.7
gcc (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.4.4-14ubuntu5): 4.4.5
g++ (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.4.4-14ubuntu5) 4.4.5
GNU gdb (GDB) 7.2-ubuntu
Code::Blocks 10.05

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?

Thanks

Known and fixed problem, but you need a C::B built from the debuggers branch.
Search for the Jens' repo, he has binary versions for Ubuntu, I don't know if they are compatible with Mint.
(most of the time I ignore long posts)

My binaries are build on debian, but are known to work on ubuntu, and will most likely work on mint too.
Installation instructions for debugger-branch, can be found here: http://forums.next.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,15024.msg100522.html#msg100522
