I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but whenever i try to create a new project, (or anything new, except empty file) it just closes down the program. Can anyone help?

running windows 7 32 bit  and the newest version of CB  (10.05)

What are the exact steps to reproduce the problem then?

Okay.  1: I open Code:Blocks from a link in my start menu

2: I go to file > new > Project

3: the Code:Blocks Crashes

Do you have the scripted wizard plugin installed?
To check goto Plugins -> Manager...

If you don't have it, you have to reinstall C::B and make you sure that you have it selected.

Yes  I do have Scripted Wizard 0.9 (and it is enabled) when I installed C::B I told it to install everything, so I should have all the required files + plugins, but im really not sure

If it exists, you can try to delete C::B's default.conf, or better rename the folder, where it is in, to back it up.
On windos it is in %APPDATA%\codeblocks (on win7 normally c:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\codeblocks\).

I deleted my code:blocks defaUlt file, but still when I opened Code::Blocks the only difference was that it asked me the same stuff it would ask me when i first installed it, such as:

which Compiler would you like to set as default?

but when I tried to create a new project the same thing happened again. If you want  I could upload some screenshots

WHy do you want to upload screenshots ?
Do you get additional messages (e.g. popup-windows, errordialogs) you did not already post ?

If yes, please post them, if not a screenshot is not needed.
And if you upload a screenshot, please use a free imagehoster and add the link here.

I guess I don't need to upload a screenshot, just a thought. But is there anything else you can tell me in how to solve this probleM?
