I do not have the option to build anything, just abort

I was building a simple hexadecimal program, and i had completed it once with build and run. After this first time, it ran well and gave me my results that i expected. But now when i try to re do it, all my build options are faded out. What should i do?

Is the program still running ?
In that case the buttons are disabled.

I can still type in the program and other buttons are working under view or file etc. Just the only buttons that work under build are abort and errors:clear all errors
