I am trying to use Codeblocks on a small 10-inch eeepc but the screen is a bit to small, see encl.
Is there any way to rearrange the screen elements?
Thanks in advance for any tip.

Yes, use drag and drop.
Also you can use the View->Toolbars menu to disable some of the toolbars.

Also you can try a recent nightly build, where this issue should be resolved.

oBFusCATed, thanks a lot for a quick and clear answer,
removing some of the toolbars improved my screen a lot but drag and drop doesn't work for the toolbars and I can't resize them.
I will try a nightly rebuild.

It seems that the nightly builds are for Windows only.
Are there any debian packages avaiable?

Yes see my sig or scroll down in the nightlies thread.

By the way, you will not be able to resize the toolbars with the nightlies, but drag to rearrange the toolbars worked in 10.05 already.

You can also play with the settings in "Settings -> Environment... -> View -> Auto show/hide message pane".
At least in the nightlies you should be able to create a minimal perspective by double-clicking on an editor tab. Default is just the editors and menus, without any toolbar, but as all other perspectives, this one can be modified to fit your needs.
