Does CB have an upper limit on its project size?

A developer at my company claims that CB crashes when trying compile a large project, e.g. (in his case) the Linux kernel.  Therefore, we must use Eclipse.  I like CB much better, because setting it up is a finite task that can actually be completed.

Is there an upper limit?  What is it?

What version of C::B? What OS?
Can you provide the project?

There is no hardcoded limit for the projects size other than the system resources of your computer and the time you have available for waiting it to finish computing.

Thank-you for your prompt response.  I'll see if I can get him to share the particulars; It might be difficult, because he claimed it was several years ago.  I also have to be gentle to avoid causing friction in our teams.
