Very weird, no opening curly brace(Mac)

Hi, everyone, I have codeblocks 8 for mac and it works perfectly except for something very weird:
Just in the codeblocks program, the { key doesn't work, but the } key does.
I can't code in codeblocks If I cn't open a curly brace.
The { key works with the rest of the programs I have.
I even updated to 12 but it is the same.
