I am currently using Code::Blocks 13.12 on windows 7 and while working on glut project with given example main CPP it tries to process; a windows appears and suddenly it says "Windows has stopped working"

I am using freeglut with libfreeglut.a to link libraries.
Build Log error::
  Checking for existence: C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\program\example\bin\Debug\example.exe
Executing: "C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks/cb_console_runner.exe" "C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\program\example\bin\Debug\example.exe"  (in C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\MinGW\freeglut\bin)
Process terminated with status -1073741510 (0 minute(s), 17 second(s))

and console window appears with Process return 255 (0*FF)

Plz help me.

Read these two links

EDIT: Please don't post links to possible malware our bloatware. Thank you.

QuoteC:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\program\example\bin\Debug\example.exe

EDIT: Building exe under the "C:\Program Files" folder might be causing the problem.

ESET smart security stopping this from downloading. Instead, I check on google and found RegCure Pro and fix almost about 1460 errors but still the same. And also, i changed "C:\Program Files\CodeBlocks\program" to "C:\Codeblock_prg"  :( I eagerly waiting for your reply. I have to sumit my project with in around 15 days. :(

No source code, no (minimal) examples to reproduce. What do you expect?

The error you are getting could very well be a bug in your code. How should we know? It really does not look to me like a C::B error, because C::B launches the program just fine but its your program that fails.

I am trying to run main.cpp, provided by c::b itself.

Edit: Using the freeglut lib (freeglut-MinGW-2.8.1-1.mp) the CB Glut Wizard code work for me.

Thanks stahta01 bro :) finally it works. I replaced "glut32" by "freeglut" and finally it works :)
