Code blocks won't run at all

I'm running windows 7 64bit and I've tried to install all three setup files offered for download as well as the latest nightly but every time I try to run it, code blocks will hang at the splash screen. I haven't been able to get it past the splash screen. It'll hang there until I close it out on task manager. What could be wrong?
