wxWidgets wxTextCtrl issue

There is an editing issue with wxTextCtrl in some environments including mine. See this thread for details:

The reason I post here is an FYI that C::B's project creation dialogs have this issue in my environment.

What is the purpose of this post? Is there some action the cb team could/should do to fix your problem?
