Wrong scaling in HiDPI Kubuntu 20.04

Hi, as far as i know, codeblocks 20.03 is supposed to have hidpi scaling fixed as it's now using wxwidgets 3.
I've installed it from repositories but it is not displaying the UI as expected. I'm attaching an image for a better understanding of the issue.

* There is a weird black column in the beside line numbers
* Sidebar with files and icons are smaller than desktop dpis
* Tabs behind edit are smaller than the desktop dpi

Is there any chance I have something setup incorrectly?
