is it safe to run the code::blocks binary?

i just downloaded it but it was from sourceforge it was the link on the offical codeblocks site to a sourceforge, will this bundle any adware?

As far as I know it won't.
If you don't want use sf.net there is another mirror.
If you're really afraid of binaries, there is the source, so you can build it yourself.
