Hi ppl,i'm new here, but there are several months that i use c::b and i like it very much. I'm satisfied for it's brand color for tags,it's very original and good to see,so i decided to make a logo like the program :D
If you like it tell me plz so i can give you the project or i can just modify it ;)
Hoping you like it.
Best regards,
GTOnizuka

A hint to all logo designer (that I have learned just recently, too):
Try to use high contrast colours. If the colours don't differ enough in contrast colour-blinded people won't be able to see a difference in the colours.
Besides from that: I like the design but I wouldn't necessarily say it's better than the current logo... anyway: nice contribution. :D
With regards, Morten.

I think that is one cool logo. Hope we can use it somewhere.

sethjackson

Yeah I think it is cool too.  8)

Game_Ender

The colors definitely need to be more vibrant.

Thomas was saying something about a "skinnable splash" last time he changed it, or something like that. It'd be nice to have skins for Code::Blocks... but unnecessary of course.

The logo looks cool but it really needs more "vibrant" colours, to quote Game_Ender :)

The letter's shadow should be reduced, or even removed. It looks kinda fuzzy here... or do I need new glasses? :P

Just a tad fuzzy. ;)

Nice work though I like the drawing. :D

Ceniza

I wonder if it's vibrant enough :P

Sorry for duplicating your model :(

Region-skinned :)  As in "uses CSG instead of alpha transparency" :)

Also please note that splash screen != logo. The logo is what we use, among other things, as application icon, as favicon, and as an element inside the splash screen.

Yeah, I really like it. IMHO thoose lighten edges shouldn't be soo lighten, but highlight is ofcoz great idea. Charon and GTOnizuka, merge your "projects" and It'll be fine. ;-)
Regards.
