Why the continued use of Berlios? It is down so often who can count. You already used to use SourceForge, why not switch back. The SVN issue is now gone, so why continue to use them? I only ask because this happens often and it seems that some of the developers are noticing too. ;)

I agree RJP: sourceforge is more reliable than Berlios :|...

Hmm, I like Berlios, I definitely feel much more comfortable on it than on SF (I don't know why, maybe because my nick was already taken on SF when I joined C::B 8)).
Switching to SF could be a good choice and as long as Berlios is not fully functional it should be taken into consideration. But let's just make some things clear: we switched from SF to Berlios because of the same reason: SF was really unstable then.
So maybe few more "unstable" days is not much comparing to work required to switch back to SF (just imagine all those links requiring update).

Of course if Berlios won't upgrade, I will vote for SF too ;)

Well the svn of Berlios is stable, and a lot of devs are in Europe (as far as I know) so for the svn I'll vote for berlios. But we could use sf for the file upload.

Yes, I never had problems with svn on berlios. We could just use sf for file upload.

I think sf.net lets the svn source be external to its site, but could not find any info on it just now.
And, it downloads can be resumed, unlike BeriOS where they can not be resumed.

I vote for sf.net for the nightly build download site; we can keep everything else where it is.

1 vote for Google Code  :P

The SVN repo Google hosts is extremely slow though, I'm not sure how bad any file hosting is (if there is any), but I doubt it'd be faster.

I agree with that! This way we can still be listed in sourceforge and apply for project of the month and all that ;-)
