Odd deletion behavior?

Occasionally when I use the mouse to place the caret, then hit <Backspace> or attempt to paste some text, the whole current line gets deleted or replaced, rather than the expected backspace or paste-insertion. I'm positive that the line is not selected. Is this some wacky feature that I just don't understand?

Try refreshing your keybinder definitions.

Settings/Editor/Keyboard Shortcuts/ OK

or deleting cbKeyBinder10.ini from the CB data directory:
