[BUG?] Cygwin g++ Compiler Options

I'm using the latest version of cygwin g++ v3.4.4.

I was playing around with the compiler options, and tried enabling "-Wfatal-errors". As far as I can tell, this functionality is not available in this version of g++ (might be wrong). The compile failed, but the build process thought there were no errors (should include check for this?)
