Can't set environment variable

I can't seem to save an environment variable.  I use Settings -> Environment..., click on Environment Variables, click on the Add button, enter a Key and Value, click on OK.  The environment variable shows up in the list.  I then close the Environment Settings window.  When I reopen the Environment Settings window, the environment variables list is empty.

I am using the MacOSX build of version svn 5000.

EDIT:  I found the problem.  I tried it in the MacOSX patch 2 version, and it worked.  The problem is that in the svn 5000 version, the Environment Settings window is too big--the bottom of the window is out of view, even though the top is flush against the top menu bar.  I couldn't see the "Cancel" and "OK" buttons at the bottom, so I didn't even know they were there.
