Can't Compile

Hi, just starting to learn C and choose this for my IDE, anyway downloaded the version with MiniGW and tried to compile my incredibly pathetic first program only to get the "Command execution failed", tried changing compilers and searching for anyone else who has had this problem and no luck. I think this may be linked to the fact that most of the menu options in compile are greyed out. Anyway any help you could direct to this poor widdle newbie on his way to (hopefully) coding mastery would be greatly appreciated.
