Simple annoying editor problem, Ubuntu 8.0.4

Hello,

When I select text with the mouse and move it somewhere else, a copy stays behind, which I typically have to go back and delete. ?  Can anyone tell me how to get/recover simple 'move' behavior?  Thanks!

well possible that tonight this might be fixed. This evening I will commit some fixes wrt copy/paste/move with the mouse.
