Watch Expressions don't seem to work

Code::Blocks from CVS today
wxWindows 2.6.1

In the settings | plugins | gdb dialog, the initial commands list box is empty and the first three checkboxes are checked.

The watch window doesn't show anything, and when place the cursor over a variable I get a "name=" with no value.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?
